Products
Products define what you sell to readers. Each product can have multiple prices.
Creating a product
Section titled “Creating a product”Go to Products and click Create Product.
You can set:
- name
- optional description
- an optional first price during creation
Prices
Section titled “Prices”Prices support:
freemonthyearlifetime
Each price also stores amount, currency, active state, and optional trial days.
Updating products and prices
Section titled “Updating products and prices”From the products screen you can:
- rename a product
- change its description
- activate or deactivate a product
- add more prices to an existing product
- activate or deactivate an individual price
- delete products or prices
Stripe sync
Section titled “Stripe sync”If Stripe is configured:
- paid products sync to Stripe products
- paid prices sync to Stripe prices
- deleting a product or price archives the Stripe resource when possible
Free products and zero-dollar prices are not synced to Stripe.
Paywall usage
Section titled “Paywall usage”Paywall rules reference productIds. Readers with an active subscription whose product matches one of those IDs bypass the rule.
